Station 1 La Junta

Station 1 is located at 601 Colorado Ave in La Junta. This station is the department’s headquarters and is the only 24hr manned station. It houses the department’s administrative offices, emergency operations center, training/meeting room, and all first due emergency response apparatus.

Chiefs Car: 2007 Ford Expedition
Captains Car: 1999 Chevy Suburban

Station 2 Industrial Park

Station 2 is located at 30270 1st Avenue in the Industrial Park Complex north of La Junta. It is strategically located to better protect the airport and surrounding northern portion of the La Junta Rural Fire Protection District. Station 2 is an unmanned station.

Brush 9: 2006 Ford F-350 V10, Type 6 Wildland Engine 330 Gallon.

Station 3 Swink

The Swink Station, which is located at 103 and 105 Railroad in Swink, was built in cooperation with the Town of Swink and LJRFPD. This station makes it faster for firefighters that live in the Swink area to respond to calls for service. Station 3 is an unmanned station.
